Our story
Mad Llama Coffee opened in the summer of 2016 with a deep love of coffee, decades of experience in cafés and roasting, a knack for baking, and a big vision for a small building. After finding an empty corner spot at Kenwood and Madison in Madisonville, we turned it into a café rooted in craft, creativity, and community. Most of what we offer is made by hand, and we’re always excited to feature the work of other local makers.
We aim to serve things that simply taste good, foster a space where everyone feels welcome, and play an active, positive role in our community.
Our process
We make everything in very small batches. We keep customer favorites and with the occasional seasonal. If we don’t make it ourselves, we like to know who does. Some of the vendors and suppliers we like are Indian Creek Creamery, Aahaa Chai, Bhavana Superfoods, Protein Snack Shack, Engaged Bees Honey, and more.
